Designed in 1973 by Hans J. Wegner for the rooms of the Hotel Scandinavian in Copenhagen, the Opala pendant is an icon of Danish lighting design. Produced by Louis Poulsen, this large version combines an impact-resistant acrylic shade with wet-lacquered black aluminium detailing. A balance of functionality, durability, and refined aesthetics.

Known for its soft, glare-free light and clean modern form, the Opala pendant remains a sought-after statement piece for both contemporary and mid-century interiors.
